Own a genuinely scarce piece of French ceramic history with this antique HB Quimper square faience plate from Brittany, France. Hand-painted with the iconic "Petit Breton" folk design, this piece is particularly rare due to its unique square shape. The factory retired these specific square molds long ago, making them highly sought-after and significantly more difficult to find than standard round variants. The back features the authentic, hand-painted interlocking "HB" monogram from the Grande Maison de la Hubaudière factory. Because it lacks a "France" country-of-origin stamp (which became federally mandated for exports later on), this plate is a verified early antique, dating between 1885 and 1915. Finding a square-mold piece from this specific turn-of-the-century era in good antique condition is an exceptional rarity for serious collectors. Shape: Rare Square Mold (Highly Collectible / Out of Production) Origin: Grande Maison de la Hubaudière (HB), Quimper, France Condition: Great antique condition with beautiful, period-correct natural glaze pitting. ⏳ AgeEra: Late Victorian / Edwardian Period Circa: 1885 - 1915 (Over 110+ years old) Pick up Campbellford (occasionally Peterborough/Belleville)
