Huge 4-Foot Vintage Mid-Century Erkki Jalava Oil Landscape - Great Condition (Delivery Included)

Delivery available Elevate your space with this stunning, authentic mid-century Canadian wilderness oil painting by listed Finnish-Canadian artist Erkki Jalava (1926-1983). Measuring a massive 48" x 28" (4 feet long), this is a true focal point and statement piece. It beautifully captures a serene Canadian Shield lakeside forest in a timeless, nostalgic style. It is absolutely perfect for a mid-century modern (MCM) urban home, a cozy cabin aesthetic, or a classic cottage mantle. Key Features: • Artist: Erkki Jalava (highly collectible 1950s-1970s Canadian wilderness landscape artist). • Dimensions: 48 inches wide by 28 inches high. • Condition: Very good vintage condition. The canvas board is bright and tight. • The Frame: Housed in its original, highly sought-after ornate cream-and-gold swept gesso frame. Unlike most vintage frames of this era, this one has been meticulously preserved and has no major chips, cracks, or missing corner details. I have touched up the gold in a few places. See photos. Delivery Information: Because a 4-foot statement piece requires a larger vehicle to transport safely, I am offering local delivery included in the price within a two hour drive from Campbellford and surrounding cottage country regions. I will carefully wrap and transport it flat to ensure it arrives at your door in perfect condition.
